The Faroese Chess Federation officially endorses Lukasz Turlej and his team Renew ECU.
This is the first time we have a woman from our federation, running as a candidate for the board elections in the ECU. Katrin D. Apol has been on the board of the Faroese Chess Federation for 8 years, most of them as deputy president. She has done a great work for Faroese chess, and we firmly believe that the European Chess Union would benefit greatly with her in the board, as vice president.
Furthermore, we believe that the board would benefit from representation by a person with insight into the specific circumstances and challenges faced by small chess nations.
We think, team Renew ECU has some great visions for European chess. And we believe that the ECU can benefit from the new energy and perspectives team Renew ECU brings to the table.
